Tips for Taghazout. Your complete guide: accommodation, restaurants,… N1
This time I'm taking you to the surf capital 🏄♀️ and my favorite village 💖 in Morocco. Taghazout, a former fishing village a few kilometers from the city of Agadir, which has become a haunt for hippies, yogis 🧘♀️, surf spots and recently digital nomads. The inhabitants are predominantly of Berber origin. Fishing, tourism and the production of argan oil are the main source of income. The expanding tourism industry promises to increase the region's tourism component.

🌞When to go?
Welcome to the Sun!
The coast of Taghazout enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate with a dry summer that bathes the coast in the sun all year round. Average temperatures range from 22 ° (January) to 30 ° (July). The sea temperature varies from 17 ° to 21 °. To tan, avoid the months of December, January and February. The surfing season lasts throughout the year like almost everywhere in Morocco. To avoid the tourist mass of summer, it is better to come surfing from October to June.
📜History
Taghazout has remained throughout its history an issue of battles between the Amazigh tribes of the hinterland and foreign powers . In the 16th century, Mhend n’Idir gathered the tribes around him, took control of the entire northern coast of Taghazout, driving out the Portuguese. Those who died were buried on Devil's Rock. It is for this reason that he is called "Imouran" or "the dying".
But at the start of the nineteenth century, the Spaniards were quick to retake "Timzguida Allal", known as the trap, building factories, housing and a new fishing and commercial port there. Only ruins remain, say the ruins of the trap, razed in January 2014 to make way for a large esplanade. In the 1960s and 1970s, Taghazout saw the arrival of generations of hippies, who have since given way to young Moroccans and surfers.

Agadir
One of the strengths of the village of Taghazout is its proximity to a big city where you can find everything.
I'll be short and name the must-see things to do in Agadir:
🧚🏼♀️The Medina Polizzi: one of the most instagrammable places in Agadir. This medina is the brainchild of artist Coco Polizzi. 💰40dhs / adult, 20dhs / child.
🧚🏼♀️The Souf al Had: One of the most beautiful and large souk in Morocco. You will discover an authentic universe where you will find almost everything: spices, leather, crafts, clothes, jewels, Amlou, a hairdresser, a vegetable souk, furniture and so on….
🧚🏼♀️Agadir Marina: Located in the continuity of the seafront promenade, the Marina is the trendy corner of the city to have a coffee, party or take a boat trip from the port. took the boat tour that we found at 200dhs / 30min 💰
🧚🏼♀️Agadir museums: Tiskiwin Museum, Memory Museum, Amazigh Heritage Museum
🧚🏼♀️The Kasbah which offers a view of the city and its ports. This is the ancient city built in 1540 before it was demolished by the terrible earthquake.
🧚🏼♀️The Portuguese garden and Crocoparc.

➕Advantage:
-Splendid view and great location 🌅.
-Top atmosphere, nice theme evenings 🥳 which allow you to meet people.
-Yoga 🧘♀️, Massage 💆, Surf 🏄♀️
"Tips: It is true that the hotel is not cheap ... or even expensive", but you can always take advantage of it by going to eat or have a drink in their restaurant "at sunset. They have frankly very affordable prices compared to the frame. Here is their card with all prices💰
Amouage, Taghazout
