Tafantant, Marrakech region
During this health crisis, what everyone needs the most is a getaway from the polluted noise of city life. Are you looking for a perfect place to relax in the countryside and not far from Marrakech?
📍Accommodation: Dar Tafantant
🏞 Dar Tafanant is a secluded inn with luxurious comfort surrounded by nature. It has a panoramic view of the snow-capped chains of the Oukaimeden of the High Atlas, surrounded by Berber villages and green fields.
📍 Located 1 hour from Marrakech (between Tahannaout and Ourika) with a good quarter of an hour of track. The exact location is super well signposted as soon as you leave the main road.
⚠️ Do not necessarily follow the GPS before leaving the main road. Turn and take the lane on the track only if you see a sign in the main road that says "Dar Tafantant".
🛏 The rooms are nicely decorated with creations of local crafts and super well equipped. You will not miss anything, the bathroom is very modern with a magnificent bathtub 🛁.
They all have a breathtaking view of the swimming pool, the village, the valley or the mountains.
📝 note that the rooms and the whole setting are much more beautiful than on the photos offered on the internet.
💰 So for prices, it starts at 850 dhs for a double room including breakfast. You also have huge, very modern tents with a capacity of more than 4 people at 1500dhs.
Additional beds are possible for the spacious rooms at only 200dhs per bed.
Hammam at 100dhs with scrub 200dhs. Massage at 500dhs.
🚻The place can be privatized for any type of event.
🍽The restaurant is a bit expensive (220 dhs 💰 per meal) but the meals are exquisite and served on demand by a caring team.
➖The WiFi was not working but I hope they will fix it soon.
The owner prefers to receive families.

Lalla Takerkoust, Marrakech region
📍Accommodation: Les terrasses du LAC
Still in the Marrakech region, I will take you to the Lalla Takerkoust lake dam where I found a nice guest house: les terrasses du lac.
🏞Once you arrive, you quickly feel at home. The staff are very welcoming and attentive.
In addition to the privacy of the place, the surrounding nature provides a soothing serenity.
🏡The guest house has a total of 7 bedrooms.
I recommend the Yacout room with a sunny terrace overlooking the garden and the swimming pool with a breathtaking view of the lake and the majestic Atlas in the background.
🛌 The Yacout room is spacious, clean, comfortable bed… nothing to complain about. As I have a preference for rooms with an unobstructed view, the terrace was a real crush
📣This room is in high demand. I advise you to book in advance.
🍽The restaurant is correct. Hearty breakfast. Delicious meal. But the menu can be developed.
When the weather is nice, meals are served in the garden which is super nice.
On the other hand, the decoration of the restaurant inside could be improved to make it a place more harmonious and warm.
💰 The night was 500dhs for a double room with breakfast. This price is variable according to the season. I invite you to call them or check the prices on the internet.
📣The place is small, hence its conviviality. The bedrooms are adjoining and the garden is small. I guess this is not the perfect place for children. On the other hand, I recommend it to couples or anyone wishing to decompress.
🤸♀️Activities:
-Eat at the nearby Flouka restaurant.
-Hike around the Lake.
-Have a quad.
Hotel restaurant le Flouka
Agafay, Marrakech region
The White Camel Lodge
Nestled in the heart of the Agafay stone desert at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, far from the urban bustle and tourist attractions of the ocher city, The White Camel Lodge is an oasis in the heart of a sublime desert landscape.
🏨The White Camel offers two categories of accommodation: Lodges and tents.
💰 Rates are 2900 DHS for the Lodge and 1900 DHS for a tent for 2 people with half board. I admit that the value for money is a bit expensive.
🍽The restaurant is just beautiful. Nicely decorated tables, well served dishes worthy of a luxury restaurant. The Moroccan meal was good. The outdoor restaurant offers a breathtaking natural open-air setting.
🏞The infinity pool is breathtaking. It offers a 360 ° view of the Lodge and the whole landscape.
📣You can spend the day with lunch and access to the pool at 350dhs 💰.
Lunch is 100% Moroccan (starters +2 main courses + dessert)
🌅 Do not miss the sunset.

Ouirgane, Marrakech region
Accommodation: Domaine La Source
Friends, I found my little piece of paradise in Ouirgane!
As I have a preference for guesthouses, this one was a real crush.
🏞In addition to the spectacular setting in the heart of nature, Michel quickly made us feel at home in his property Domaine La Source.
📍Located in the Atlas, in Marigha (Ouirgane), on the Tizi N'test road connecting Marrakech (distance 60 kms) to Taroudant, this guest house built in 2003 overlooks the valley and offers a breathtaking view with its two terraces of over 60m² each. Access is easy and the road is paved so no worries about your cars. ⚠️ On the other hand, be careful to take the right street where there is a sign “Domaine La Source”.
🍽Michel is a very good chef, he prepared a typical French dinner himself, and it was a real delight! Everything was homemade, fresh and delicious. And best of all, he gave us a tour of the vegetable garden and at the same time we harvested what he was going to prepare in the evening. What a magnificent experience!
🌳 Michel took his time for 13 years to create a "Garden of Eden", with so many beautiful flowers. There is a constant supply of fresh fruits and vegetables, and the hens lay eggs daily for breakfast. There is even a living peacock on the ground!
📣I remind you that this is not a hotel but rather a guest house with the spirit of living the homestay experience. And frankly, this is one of the strengths of the place!
🛏 The house has 3 double bedrooms of about 20m2 with bathroom and wc, each with a private terrace.
The room was extremely clean with all the amenities you might need and the very comfortable bed. comfortable.
💰 Room for 2 people: 990.00 dhs 💰 per night, breakfast included (b & b)
Honestly, I find the value for money reasonable, especially for such an intimate and luxuriously comfortable property.

🔯 Visit of the Anraz douar where the holy Jew Rabbi Haim Ben Diouane is buried. Restored in 2015, the sanctuary welcomes a crowd of pilgrims every year. The Jews who visit the place also take the opportunity to meditate on the graves of two other saints, buried in the same complex. They are Rabbis Mordekhai and Abraham Ben Hammou, which brings the number of Rabbis buried there to three and explains the later construction of a synagogue for Jewish pilgrims.
